PRE-CONSTRUCTION PLAN REVIEW

Construction plans are reviewed to ensure that all balancing devices on the construction documents are properly sized and located.  Plan check includes a review of contract documents, contract specifications, submittals, mechanical shop drawings and temperature control shop drawings.

 

CONSTRUCTION PHASE INSPECTIONS

On-site visits to the project are made to ensure that all components are installed for proper balancing.  Components to be inspected include: ductwork, dampers & diverting devices, terminal boxes and reheat coils, air distribution, building doors, windows, ceilings, etc, air handling units, fans, electrical, motors, automatic control dampers, controls, piping, valves, flow meters, temperature and pressure wells, terminal coils, pumps, chillers, condensors & cooling towers.
