Duct Leakage Testing:  Air distribution systems are tested for duct leakage, which often leads to greater system efficiency.

Key Benefits

bulletNo duct system is airtight.  All duct systems leak to some degree.  If controlled properly, duct leakage can be kept to a minimum.  As leakage increases, more air (energy) is required to maintain the original design conditions, which increases operating costs.  To protect building owners against leakage and the resulting increase in operating costs, design engineers are specifying leakage parameters and are requiring field verification testing in specifications.

Capabilities

Perfect Balance utilizes the United McGill LTK-L calibrated large leakage test kit.  This equipment allows for tests up to 8" wc and in duct systems capable of 35,000 cfm.
