equipment. The Shortridge AirData Multimeter measures air velocity when used with a
pitot tube, AirFoil Probe, or VelGrid and automatically corrects for density variations
due to local temperature and barometric pressure. When used with the FlowHood Kit,
this meter measures air flow and automatically compensates for air density and
backpressure effects, allowing direct air flow readings. Accurate differential pressure
measurements can be taken down to 1/10,000th of an inch of water column. Temperature
and absolute pressure measurements can be taken over a wide range. |
 | The Shortridge Hydronic Data Multimeter is also the latest, state-of-the art,
digital hydronic flow meter. |
 | For troubleshooting problem systems and/or
existing systems without flow measuring devices installed, Perfect Balance
utilizes the latest state-of-the-art technology. Our non-intrusive,
clamp-on, Polysonics DCT7088 portable transit time flow meter will accurately
measure all clear fluid flow in any type of pipe in the HVAC industry. |

Capabilities
Utilizing digital test equipment insures field testing accuracy. Test and
balance agencies have an obligation to use the most accurate methods that field conditions
permit. At times, several methods may be used as a cross-check to determine flow
rates accurately.
